What adhesive to use with glass wall tiles with a painted back?

I looked on the tile association website and it said silicone based mirror adhesive but my kitchen fitter looked at me oddly saying he's never used that before on glass tiles. I did call the manufacturer but they weren't very helpful.

1. Use a "mastic" type ceramic tile adhesive.
2. Go with the kitchen fitters recommendation. After all he should be guaranteeing the whole job.

4. I ve never have heard of that type of application.. Thin set motor (latex fortified and sometimes stronger)is what I ve always have seen recommended.. Have you got the tiles yet? If so many of the types I ve laid come w/ specific instruction..If your still in dought check w/ the place of purchase for that particular glass tile it can vary GL
