Glass Installs

I have stain glass windows hung on frames.Can anyone help with a step-by-step process in repairing all aspects

I have 4 double hung stain glass windows that are 80+ years old. I am a good do it yourselfer and would like someone to help me with a step-by-step instruction in repairing/removing glass from the window. My problem lies with the putty and framing. All aspects are chipping and cracking. The lead soder is in good condition.
