Glass Installs

I want to know how to tell if a glass egg I bought at a yard sale is a real fenton art pedistal egg?

This egg is glass with hand painted by: mike lemon written on the back. It also has a sticker on the back that says Fenton 1989. It is made with a pedistal attached also made of glass. Its white irridesent with pink and purple tulips painted on one side. I would like to know its value also. I got it at a yard sale for .25 cents. I have already tried looking on Fenton art glass website, but I could not find any thing listed with that date. I dont know any other way of looking it up on the web.

  3. No matter what You did very well for paying 25 cents for your egg! From the reasearch that I have done it looks they go from $65.00/ $70.00 and UP, UP,UP. Beginning in the mid-1980s, Fenton began to create annual groupings of special colors, such as Pink Opalescent and Topaz Opalescent. Once called "Collector’s Extravaganza," these offerings evolved into the limited edition "Historic Collections" which continue today. Each Historic Collection color has admirers, but some are especially noteworthy: More on next site ;http://aarf.com/fentons05.htm Many of their newer creations made since 1973 are already very collectible. These pieces are marked with an oval shaped raised logo Fenton molded directly into the glass.
