glass bricks?
can anyone tell me if glass bricks /blocks ars fire proof

- i doubt it i t would have to be extremely strong glass
- I don't think they'd be fireproof although they may be more resistant to fire than normal bricks.

- They do make fire-rated glass that I've seen with up to a three hour rating. Meaning it will be fine in a fire for up to three hours before melting/breaking. If purchasing, make sure to purchase blocks that are hose-stream protected to keep them from breaking when the fire departments hoses the area a down or the sprinklers wet them down. I f they dont have this resistence, first the block gets hot hot hot, then the water hit them, and kaboom, breakage.
